General details:Launch at the end near the slip way, easy to park & near the "Mumbles Mile" for loads of pubs suitable for rehydrating after windsurfing. The sea can get quite choppy. Water quality is a bit suspect. Directions to the right place:
How the winds work:Best in NW, clockwise to SE. E can get very choppy Tidal conditions:HW springs tend to occur around 07:00 - 08:00 (19:00 - 20:00). HW neaps around 13:00 (GMT). Large tidal range. Can be sailed at all states of the tide, though it's muddy & rocky on spring lows. Hazards:Strong currents Rocks Facilities:
