Do we think Weston beach will be closed then? I couldn't find confirmation but the scale of the motorbike event makes it look likely I guess. Shame because I was only going to manage a quick hour's sail. Llandegfedd's too far for me. The wind looks lovely though .

Hi I was at Axbridge for a couple of hours and there was little wind. I'm now at Weston waiting for the wind to pick up and the sea to come in! (High tide 19:30. 20mph winds forecast from 17:00.) Noone else here, but i guess they know better than to arrive 3.5 hours before high tide! Davin Black M-r...

I'm thinking of becoming a member joining at the end of the month so going to go check it out today. (Gotta ask someone to let me in as a guest apparently.)

Hi Bob Looking unlikely now i'm afraid as i was hoping to source a powerbox bolt from Windsurfer's World but they're out of stock, so without going to another windsurfing shop (and the closest i know of is near Portland!) i'm a no go i'm afraid. Still, i'll be sure to get my membership sorted for Ax...

I might join you - the wind's supposed to be around 17kts from 10:00 to 13:00 and i've never sailed there.
I might have to enquire as to whether i can enact a student (£14) membership between now and tomorrow.

Hi all Anyone going out today/tonight? I'm desperate to get back in to windsurfing so just bought myself a beautiful Mistral Flow 96 and was hoping to go today! Historically we've always gone to Portland but been to Weston a few times and would rather make that my regular spot now (or somewhere else...
