Over to Facebook ...

If you are thinking it is a bit quiet on the Forum (and we have given up windsurfing!) - it's because we now seem to be using the Bristol Nomads Windsurfing Club's Facebook Group. Saturday 7 Nov - WSM?

Half eyeing it up! Looks windy - and mildish, and maybe a bit of sun.

Anyone else interested? I know Mike is keen.

Re: Portland Sat 10th October

Great day out on Saturday with Nomads Mike, Matt, Giles and Simon, and Adrian kiting. Plenty of the regulars around, and a few of the WSM'ers turning up too. Started off on my 6.5 and 105, but changed down to the 5.5 and 85 for the afternoon as the wind kicked up a notch as predicted by Met Office. ...

Re: Portland Sat 10 Oct

OK, Matt - that's good, and Mike is also coming along. At least someone else thinks it is possible it may work, although the afternoon looks to be better than the morning.

Just noticed my bouncing elephant avatar seems to have disappeared :( .

See you tomorrow.

Portland Sat 10 Oct

I am watching forecasts for Portland for tomorrow. A possible decent(ish) easterly - although the forecasts have been changing.

Anyone else interested?

Re: this week

Hi Graham

Weds could be OK at WSM - and the tide timing is good.

I'll probably decide tomorrow morning. Lorraine has her eye on it :D.

WSM Tuesday 28 July

Sunny and very windy, and several Nomads around for afternoon sailing company - Lorraine, Graham, Ian, Keith, and Matt a little later. Adrian was out kiting. There was quite a bit of faffing over sail sizes - but it was an easy decision for me, as I went with my smallest, being 4.2 and 74 litre wave...

WSM Tues 28/7

Lorraine and I are planning on WSM tomorrow - should be windy and sunny, but I hope not too windy for our smallest kit!

We intend to get out on the water as soon as the tide state allows - soon after 2.00pm.

Maybe we'll see some other Nomads there too?

Re: Portland Monday 27 Jul

Hi Ian

Lorraine and I are favouring Tuesday or Wednesday at WSM rather than tomorrow. Tomorrow looks a bit scary .
Have fun. You should get some good speeds.

Re: WSM - Saturday 25 July

Excellent day :D 8) :D. Plenty of sunshine and wind - Nomads Justin & Lorraine, Mike, Matt, Adrian (kiting), Nigel, Richard & Alison, and several Weston regulars to share it with. Started on the 5.5m and 85 litre leading up to high tide, and eventually changed to a well down-hauled 4.7 and t...

Hi Richard
I'm looking at WSM if anything - a good tide state tomorrow, and hopefully wind :D .
Have a good time.
