Re: 400 RDM mast / 4.5-5.0 sail wanted

Hi Gregg,

My 4.0 is very old and has significant damage - not really what anyone would want - more gaffer tape and sail repair tape than ~North mylar :???:

Cheers

Re: Board Mast and 2 Sails

no problem - thats life.

Head is a bit visible in work - ok very visible - worst bit is no glamourous story of kiting/windsurfing/Mountain biking to tell - just an idiotic moment of stupidity - actually i am quite good at them!

Sunday 10th

Hope you all had better days than me. I decided to head down to Portland as WSM looked to have heavy rain when the water arrived and Portland was showing as Sunny all afternoon - so given the forecast i also popped in a windsurfer and a 4.0 sail. Any lighter winds and Kiting is fine and better for t...

Re: Sunday August 3rd

I went to Weston although worried that the wind would kick in as the water disappeared - certainly no wind at all to start with a 5 mph husting to 11 or 12 mph at best. In the end I got 2 hours finishing 3 hours after high water so a long muddy walk back and inevitably the last hour was best and it ...

Re: Sun 13/7 WSM

I went to Portland as I did nt expect Weston to happen but givenn the very low tide it would have been horrible windsurfing. As it was the wind was very gusty in the now we have some now we don't sense and I think 7.5 would have been the best sail choice. I was ok on the dark side but even my twin t...

Re: Superwindy Saturday 10th

I arrived fairly early with Windsurfing kit in case it was too windy to play on 'Thae Dark Side' but the wind was only in the low to mid 30mph's so I kited on my smallest 6.0 kite - giving it its second outing after Friday when it had started powered up and gradually become quite underpowered but ju...

Re: Hamworthy Club Trip on Sunday 11th.May

If I had turne up you would have had a 'Mary Poppins' all day :D However I have no permit for Poole harbour and you can only get an annual permit so not worth it for a day . It will probably always be a low turnout if their is a tide and wind at Weston as it is so much closer and quicker for most pe...

Sat 26th

Intended to go to Portland today but dropped into Overcombe and decided to stay as waves were good and kited on my 8.0 - actually took my windsurfing kit but as was parked at the top of the hill it stayed in the car and I remained on the dark side

Weston 15th 16th

Where were all the Nomads? Was not expecting to sail as had an appointment at Cheddar at 3.00pm but in the morning the forecast had started to look promising and with a late tide I packed my kit and raced over to Weston to find double digit temeraptures and 25 to 30 mph WSW wind :D Got on the water ...

Saturday 15th

Where is everyone? Went to hillhead today, got there just after lunch and the wind was still about 45 -50mph+ so waited an hour before going out on a more modest 35 mph or so - unfortunately a big squall came through at about 3.30 and the wind dropped dramatically to about 15 mph - could not be both...
