Can't make out sail sizes from the photo.
Too many other jobs and lack of wind and temperature meant we stayed at home.

Surprised it was so windy. We were building a barn but got rained / hailed off around 10:15 but the rain seemed pretty vertical where we were. Spent the remainder of the day driving to Ely but there doesn't seem to be much windsurfing around here. Driving past Grafham we weren't remotely tempted to ...

Jumps n Bumps in Cannock

I heard a rumour recently that 2 Nomads went on a sneaky jumps 'n bumps course at Cannock Chase. Strange I haven't managed to find any details of it on here either before or after the event. :???:

If the tide is wrong at Portland, it will be right at Hamworthy (Poole).

We will be at a beer festival in Kent so won't be joining you.

Hi R&A, glad to hear things looks as though they are going to improve for you. I think your going to have to update your "location" - you seem to do more posting from Dahab than Yate!

Neroli and I made it down there for about 9:30 on Sat morning. Didn't feel particularly inspired to sail so chilled for most of the day with the occasional ball play on the beach for the dogs. When the wind filled in early afternoon was still too relaxed to rig up (probably due to a pint and half at...

Don't worry Mark, you won't have to sit in the van watching the rain - I'll let you take the dogs for a walk/run.

Not sure about the option for a different weekend as the nights start to draw in.

Forgot to mention, we will also have Axel's best friend in the whole wide world staying with us for the weekend; so there will be a young, equally bouncy Border Collie, Scooter, as well.

Neroli, Axel and I are planning to both be at the pub and down at Daymer. As Keith mentioned, in recent years we have adjourned to the Fourways in the evening - but in recent years we haven't had anyone camping, only BnBs and campervans. Not sure where we will be staying the night, probably depends ...

Alas didn't manage to get it planing but managed to make some great big holes. Unfortunately Neroli spotted them so had to backfire afterwards. Would be great fun @ Weston; win the prize for the biggest sand castle in minutes. Despite no planning I must have enjoyed myself as I have kept hold of it ...

We're going to rent a digger for the weekend, so I'm going to rig a 7tonne. Can't see us getting sailing as well :-(

Hi Paul, sadly there is no chance of you getting away with throwing your kit in from the Causeway and sailing. I live within kit carrying distance of one of the Causeways, so believe me, if there was a chance I thought I could get away with it, I would. During all daylight hours there are a multitud...
