Ok - Windsurfing it isn't. This is the mountain bikers splinter group for when the wind don't blow!

Brechfa - 22nd Aug 09

Post by Ian Long »

Great trip round the Black Raven trail at Brechfa, ably guided by Dro & Liwsi yesterday. Defintely a tough slog of a climb, particularly given the top section is so muddy.

Fully details can be viewed here.

The first section of the descent from the top is unfortunately incredibly muddy at the moment and no fun to ride / slide at all. Apart from that it is a really great trail with an excellent playground (table tops & steep bermed turns etc) towards the end.

Definitetly a great way to wind down from our trip to Ireland, thanks Hugh for guiding us round.
If found, please return to the pub.

Liwsi and I have just recovered conciousness

Many thanks for great company

Note that Ian seemed to have enough time to stop, dismount, prepare his camera, comb his hair, drink a cup of tea and have a fag before I arrived for the picture.

Would love to do it again but would prefer it if they both left their brakes ON next time

All the best
