The place to chill out & chat about anything on or even off topic. BTW, mine's a pint of Cotswold Spring's Old Sodbury Mild, please.

Chew Valley Beer Festival Sept 11th & 12th

Post by Ian Long » Wed Jul 29, 2009 07:45

The 2009 Chew Valley Beer Festival is been held on Fri 11th & Sat 12th September this year.

As always there is an excellent range of beers (~32 different, mostly local) & 7 ciders.

The hall ceiling has been replaced this year to improve the accoustics and we have improved the musical line up.

As ever, Neroli and I are planning to take a party along on the Fri night with the option of crashing out here afterwards and heading off on the MTBs around the Mendips on Sat to clear the head. Drop me a line if you would like to come, tickets are £7.
If found, please return to the pub.

Unfortunately can't make it this year - unless you can temporarily relocate to Austria??
It's an ill wind that never blows at all.

I could come over to windsurf on the estuary - and thus double my windsurfing tally for this year. The thought of beer afterwards would normally appeal, but I'm quite prepared to make an exception in this case.

Bummer, I am working Saturday and Beer festival usually equals hangover which fails to be compatible with dealing with members of the public

Have a good one!
