Thailand

Post by Liddlerich »

I'm off to Thailand in 2 weeks. Much to my girlfriends annoyance I have planned out travelling route to take in what are, according to rumour, good windsurfing spots. Kit looks OK too. Not really known for windsurfing as far as I knew. There is also a wakeboearding centre in Phuket with a cable tow. How happy am I?!?!?

I went to the Philippines last year and windsurfed in Boracay. If Thailand is like that then it should be great. I'll keep you posted.

Well, I'm back. Had a great time but seemed to miss the wind by a few days (sound familiar). Went to a couple of spots that were supposed to be good for windsurfing but alas the wind didn't turn up. Apparently 'we should have been there 2 days ago.'

Never mind, had a great time and saw lots of Thailand. The wakeboarding was great too. Not a windsurfing destination though.
