We've now booked Dahab for a week going 3 May (2009!) too, with Neilson. Does this mean I'm becoming a timid?

I think the lager could be a step too far and I've got to keep my small boards to fill the van up, so I might have to defer timid membership for a bit longer.

PS. We're in the Coralia rather than the Hilton. I'll pocket the difference and use it for new kit. Or lager, if I crack.....

Are you guys back yet? Any tips for us going to Dahab at the end of the month. What the training and equipment like at Nielson, what is the Corelia like?

Actually its so long since I've been to Egypt any tips about about there in general:

- I understand we don't need to pay for a VISA if we're not planning to travel out side of Sinai.
- Recommendations on what Money to take.
- What the price to expect for drinks and meals

All insights and recommendations welcome.

It was a Nightmare Graham

No wind
No Sun
Dreadful company
Poor food
poor equipment non existent training
Fellow windsurfers so timid it made me look brave
Everybody just pottered around slowly in shallow waters

Advice
Buy a visa so you can get away from the place
Take huge amounts of money so you can drink yourself to oblivion and forget the sad reality that is Dahab
Everything is expensive

So in conclusion DO NOT GO
Try a week in Weston instead

I am sure all this will be confirmed in the official report but at least you can prepare yourself for disappointment

Yours a relieved and counting his blessings

Lord Timid

P.S.

Hope this was helpful :D
