Looking to potentially go to Fuerte in Sept/Oct with my girlfriend and 10mth old son

I appreciate that the winds may not be upto much - but feel like getting some sun and maybe some wind

Is there any place (ie Hotel / Villa) that you would recommend?

Thanks,
Northy

Hmm. Well, it's a very broad question, and there must be no less than about 20,000 apartments & a couple of hundred hotels on Fuerte.

What are you're plans - are you looking to take a package hol, or diy? If the former, then you'll need to pick your location first:

Corralejo is the most poular resort for brits. In the North, close to Flag Beach windsurfing Centre & Glass Beach. There are just too many hotels/apartments to recommend. I also stay out of Corralejo 'cos it's grown too big, too quickly for my liking. If you're looking for "diy" apartments in & around Corralejo (or El Cotillo), email Ben Thomas at Flag Beach windsurfing centre - email address on my Fuerte pages on the main BNWC website.

Getting almost as big now is Caleta de Fuste/El Castillo - about 10 mins S of the airport. Thousands of apartments, several new hotels, new golf course, small bay full. Not good for windsurfing. BUT - you're ideally situated for trips up to Corralejo, El Cotillo AND Sotavento. But you'll need to hire a car.

In Sotavento itself, there's the famous Hotel Sol Gorriones which is now available from the UK. Practically right on the beach by the hire/World Cup centre. Nearby Costa Calma has also grown massively over the last few years with hotels & apartments a-plenty.

If you have any more specific requirements, feel free to post again.

I have no pilots licence so can not have aviator
But I do have a paper aeroplane
Will that do?

Cydweli lost to Carmarthen Athletic very sad
Though they did play well
Disappointment aleviated somewhat by Lager

All the best on the moon

Did not realise there was a wind there (you learn something new every day)
