GMT & the forums

Unfortunately, phpBB doesn't cope with the hour going backwards & forwards between GMT/BST.

In order to ensure you have the correct time stamp on your posts; whenever the clocks change, you need to edit your Profile ("Profile" link near the top of the page) to the new time zone.

Scroll down to "Timezone", & set it the new value in there:
  • When the clocks go back in October, set "Timezone" to "GMT".
  • When the clocks go forward in March, set "Timezone" to "GMT+1"
The above only works if you're in the UK, Ireland, The Canaries, or other countries that are on GMT, of course. If you're in other parts of the world, you'll need to advance/retard the settings according to your own timezone.
