Thursday 10th July - Evening sail at Weston

Post by Keith S »

Evening sail and social on the beach at Weston super Mare.

High tide 17:55 11.22m

So sailing from 16:00 to 20:00 if there's any wind. Otherwise bring a bottle and meet for a chat - I would guess at around 20:00.

I won't make it due to T15 at Axbridge.

Looking at the current forecasts, tomorrow(weds) afternoon looks much more promising. 15 Mph at 2pm rising to 18 mph by 6pm with HT just before 5pm with sun increasing during the late afternoon. Thurs looks like the wind will disappear as the Water arrives. Currently expect to be going tomorrow instead of Thurs.

Sorry, hadn't seen this thread before I started one under "Trips".
I agree with Graham, that weds looks far better winds for a sail than Thursday. I am thinking of going tomorrow - will confirm in the morning.
