What Nomadic events are coming up. Also, if anyone's planning a non-Nomadically-arranged trip and/or looking for others to join in.

Anyone socialising tonight? I'm in two minds at the moment!

Not looking too promising for Sunday!

'fraid I won't make it tonight.
It's an ill wind that never blows at all.

I'm going. The beer is excellent! I hope some others turn up.

Several at the social last night - including two new members, Jessica (who had driven all the way from Bridgewater to meet us), and Ian (an Axbridger).

The consensus was that based on current forecasts, no-one was interested in making the trip on Sunday.

Keep watch (and posting!) on the forum for any last minute changes, and those unscheduled trips.

No wind

Post by nicwoody »

I've checked all the forecasts (XC Weather, Big Salty Windguru)...there's nothing doing....
I happen to be in South Devon for long weekend with family, so we'll be heading to Bigbury on Sunday to canoe surf and drown...if anyone want to see a some good no wind fun....

Hi Nic

That sounds good! I'm getting more than a little stressed out with stuff I've pulled out for a carboot sale tomorrow (.. I'm on a major declutter splurge!). I can imagine I'll get a few strange looks at a woman's seat harness I'm trying to get rid off! I'm already wondering if it is worth it - the thought of surfing at Bigbury is far more appealing!

Have fun - some easterlies forecast for the end of next week, so maybe a chance to get the kit wet soon.
