weekend 8/9 Oct

What Nomadic events are coming up. Also, if anyone's planning a non-Nomadically-arranged trip and/or looking for others to join in.

Maybe Portland on Sunday is the best bet - and have some GPSs around for a speedy session there?

weekend sailing

Thinking Newton tomorrow, although not the best forecast (looking good for WSM though  ).
Sunday, either same again, or Portland - anyone going with a GPS to share around for a bit of competition?

Believe Matt has the club one ... or have I just made that up? :???:

Axbridge is also looking OK for Sunday - with more than enough W wind forecast for a decent blast (per Met Office B forecast). But it's not the sea .. :(

It's about time this rumour that I've got the club GPS was terminated. I did take it to Dahab 2 years ago but it died when I brought it back so I returned it to Steve. There was another rumour that it had started working again but I've not seen it since.

I have got my own though so I might be tempted to take it to Portland on Sunday if the forecast holds. Or another sea venue? :D

PS. My GPS looks totally different to the club one.

Brean Saturday

Post by Justin »

I'm up for Brean on Saturday.
Ian or Ambrosia .... do you get on the beach at the 'Berrow' entrance (seem to remember having to pay here) or further up the beach towards Brean Down :?:

Ahhh , I remember Matt's GPS now ... it broke my boom the last time I tried it out .. :???:

Will probably give Brean (in the rain!) a miss and save my energy for a speedy session at Portland :P

Richard - my better (hyperphetically speaking) half is up in Lincoln this weekend which is why I am windsurfing both days.
What is a Charger, is it a Dodge Charger midlife crisis sports car if so my money would be on Justins Astra Diesel - I have witnessed how fast he drives.

Justin - thanks for the vote of confidence, not unjustified I might add - only been to Brean once but entered at Brean end of beach, free of charge.

Good luck and may the best Tiga win - again no pressure.

Hi Justin The entrance is at the brean end about half a mile from the down you cant miss it. then drive back towards Berrow on the beach about half a mile there should be a gaggle of cars if it's windy.

They only charge during the summer months so it's free now :)

See you there wind permitting.
Cheers Simon
