WSM Weds 6th.Aug afternoon

What Nomadic events are coming up. Also, if anyone's planning a non-Nomadically-arranged trip and/or looking for others to join in.

Post by Graham_U »

Forecast currently showing 18-19mph and sunny from mid-day to HT at 15-08, looks promising for anyone that can get the afternoon free.

Hi Graham - I have my eye on it :-).

I'll try and get there earlyish to sail the incoming tide, rather than the outgoing. Will see tomorrow, but I agree it is looking promising.

The Met offices is still showing a similar forecast, although Tim on Bristol Channel has posted a different forecast that doesn't look so good. I'll keep an eye on it but can not get a current reading from the Flatholm site. I'm also planning to get their early for the early long walk. Tide rise is relatively small so hopefully the window should be a bit longer.

Watching this from work. Aiming for 1 p.m. if I go for it.
