Hayling Island 29 Apr-01 May

What Nomadic events are coming up. Also, if anyone's planning a non-Nomadically-arranged trip and/or looking for others to join in.

Hayling Island 29 Apr-01 May

Post by Al Donald »

We are going to Hayling Island over the Bank Holiday w/e.
Whilst we are in the area, we might want to consider spending one of the days at Stokes Bay (Alverstoke). This seems to be off the radar for our location finder, but I have sailed there - quite a few years ago. The reason I mention it, is that my Aunt has a large house very close to the beach that would be available for an overnight stay. She has vacated the house after re-marrying but it is on offer at very reasonable (indeed) rates. Not sure how many beds but also plenty of room for vans, tents etc. If this is of interest, I can get further details.

Possibility of a westerly breeze on Sunday and Monday. I have yet to get afloat this year ( ) so I am keen to go if possible.
Discuss at POT@WOT tomorrow.

Neroli and I are staying with (windsurfing) friends in the area for the weekend, so we are certainly going to be around for some if not all the weekend.

See you on Thursday 8)
If found, please return to the pub.

Hi Dudley

Ian & Neroli, Viv and I will be there on Sunday. Even if there isnt much wind we want to have a look. Not sure when we'll arrive but it should be before lunch. Ian's put some arrows on a map here.

Cheers
Steve
