WSM on the drop 16th Aug

Belated report. Last minute decision to sprint down a quite busy M5 to arrive for high tide at Weston courtesy of Flatholm showing 22mph and Burnham webcam showing sun. The unexpected wind had clearly caught most people napping as only 4 other windsurfers and a handful of kiteists there, including Adrian. Slightly underpowered on the 6.5/110lL combo to start with but it then filled in a notch so I was perfectly powered up and had an excellent time playing around on the waves in the sunshine for a couple of hours. A little bit more south in the wind than usual meant you could get a good angle on the waves going out so good for jump attempts. Sailed till gone 5pm with quite a long walk back. Smashing.
