Portland Sunday 20th

Post by Adrian »

Warm and windy at Portland but not a lot of water for windsurfing so the windsurfers were getting a reasonable walk to get out and back.

Very bad day for me as I fractured my shoulder plus assorted minor injuries :( - before anyone says thats the danger of kitesurfing - I was chatting in the car park after very painfully changing, a windsurfer came in requiring an ambulance after a similar shoulder injury - possibly a dislocation. :???:

thinking about taking up knitting but those needles look too dangerous :D

Really sorry to hear about your accident. Anything for a bit of sympathy :) Hopefully it will not spoil your Christmas too much and also hope you will be soon fit and in action again.
Not sure knitting is your thing but by all means post pictures of your work on the website. May be we could have a knitting section dedicated to you

Take it easy and enjoy Christmas.

If knitting does not work there is always drinking.
It works for me

lT

P.s.
And keep drinking cos if you stop the nightmare known as reality returns
What do you mean not ENOUGH wind ?

Adrian,

Commiserations, hope it's not your drinking arm. I think you need them both for knitting too. At least a kitesurfing injury has got a bit more street cred than, say, knocking yourself out with your car tailgate!
Hope it heals soon and you have a good Christmas anyway.
Should've been here yesterday.
