Sunny and very windy, and several Nomads around for afternoon sailing company - Lorraine, Graham, Ian, Keith, and Matt a little later. Adrian was out kiting.
There was quite a bit of faffing over sail sizes - but it was an easy decision for me, as I went with my smallest, being 4.2 and 74 litre waveboard. I was overpowered on the first run - and gave it a bit more downhaul which helped . Lorraine looked very comfortable on her 3.7m and 70l waveboard. Ian H was blasting over the bumps at high speed with his GPS, for a Nomad's speed competition reading.
The water state was beautiful at the start (3 hrs before high tide) - some nice waves, but also wide flat spells between the waves. Larger lumps appeared as the tide came in. Overall a fun sail and great afternoon .
