Sunday 6th April

What Nomadic events are coming up. Also, if anyone's planning a non-Nomadically-arranged trip and/or looking for others to join in.

Sunday 6th April

Post by Justin »

Anyone planning on going to Portland tomorrow?
Or maybe WSM (considering an early morning sail - incoming tide, S wind)?

I would love a sail - but keep looking at the forecast for Portland and it is double rain drops for most of the day! Which puts me off. I think Ian H is more than likely going along.

I'm desperately trying to work up some motivation. Normally I don't mind the rain, but with the temps marginal I'm still to be convince. The forecast on TV last night looked like the east edge of the rain front would be somewhere on the south coast, so it may move before tomorrow morning. If anyone has definite plans please post.

I'm going to Portland tomorrow. Agree the rain looks bad but it will wash the gear at the end of the session! At least it's windy and 12-ish degrees c.
RRD & Tushingham kit. Will be there 11-ish. Might as well start the season planing in 20knts!
cheers all,
Simon

not looking promising so far, I think it will depend on the morning. But looking at a session next week, Tuesday looks promising.

Well the weather forecast is looking less rainy than yesterday, so going to Portland to fly the flag for the geriatrics. That’s my boards off course, not me.

Hopefully plenty others going to make the journey to keep me company.

I haven't made it out any where ... obviously  .

I am impressed at the amount of Nomad action out and about today, though - hope you all had a great time and sail.

I am half eyeing up WSM for Tuesday now, as my debut session this year :D .
