Cold Knap Sunday 22/7

What Nomadic events are coming up. Also, if anyone's planning a non-Nomadically-arranged trip and/or looking for others to join in.

Cold Knap Sunday 22/7

Postby Sue » Sat Jul 21, 2012 18:58

Been out today so only just looked at the forecasts for Barry tomorrow.

What does anyone think? Looks a little too marginal to me to make the trip - but then again SW and sun is forecast so those magic stones may work. Plus there are slight mutterings on the BWA website it could be Ok. I've not seen alot on the forecasts though!

Me and Ruth will be going to Barry tomorrow.

Not brave enough to get in a bit concerned about strong currents.

The main reason for the trip is Ruth would like to meet Gavin and Stacey.

The locals are thinking they are in with a chance:

looking on the Met office its maxing at 10 mph, so I guess there a chance, but too much of a risk for me to travel that far.

I suspect it may pick up this afternoon with thermals - but like Graham feel it's too far to travel on the off-chance!

Hope you have a grand day out Phil - you'll be fine current wise until up to an hour past low tide (and especially so if you don't go too far out).
