We had a new aim this year - it's the Weston Weather
Station. This was announced at our AGM earlier this year.
If you knew where to go to find the current wind conditions at
Weston, what would you do? You'd look right?
Brian's move last year presented the club with the opportunity
to help everyone who sails at Weston.
Quite simply we install a Weather station on his
roof and send the results to the Nomads website. I had better say
at this point that Brian and Hilary are both up for this.
We've now achieved the budget - within just 2 months. The weather
station has been bought, and we're now going through the process
of setting it up.
We'd like to send a heartfelt thanks to all those
people who kindly donated something towards the weather station.
I'm sure it'll reward us with many years of faithful service.
