Smashing long ride Gerry, Viv says we did just under 24 miles. Horrible mud in both 50 acre and leigh woods. We should suggest the Kings Arms in Pill to the club....the best pint is an earned pint. Looked like Stu was recovering ok, we need to take him on the Cheddar ride from Rowberrow this summer.

A short but interesting ride around Clapton in Gordano (home of the Black Horse) is planned for Powells and Sanderssssss. We have a work do sat night so pace will be gentle. 10 ish start at Gerry's.

Now that Ian & Neroli have gone the weather has taken a turn for the worse. Clouds and rain makes the trails decidedly more tricky. I tumbled in Devils Club on slippy wood and rock and Viv fell off on the wooden bridge near the bottom of Crank It Up. :cry: Met our first close-up bear :shock: ......

Came down the mountain from the top for the first time. Took nearly 35 minutes !! Brakes definitely overheating.
