Ok - Windsurfing it isn't. This is the mountain bikers splinter group for when the wind don't blow!

Turned out to be a cracking ride - thanks Adrian for performing all navigational duties and leading us to a perfect pub just when we were all about to perish from dehydration.

36miles round the top of the ridgeway, stopping for ice-creams, water and beer as appropriate - just under seven hours from start to finish including all stops.

During the course of the ride a couple of the ruts did manage to claim a few victims, the most spectular of all was their complete demolition of Martin's cycling shorts. Thankfully he was wearing something underneath to prevent further embarrassment. :)

The need to fed on the way home meant we stopped for fish and chips in Bath and we were starving by the time we got there.
If found, please return to the pub.

Yes - I really need to figure out how to handle those bl**dy ruts.

Great ride - & thanks once again to Adrian for leading the way.

The Blue Boar in Aldebourne is to be recommended.
