weekend 22/23 Oct ... and Mon 24 Oct :-)

What Nomadic events are coming up. Also, if anyone's planning a non-Nomadically-arranged trip and/or looking for others to join in.

Definitely Portland for me on Sunday afternoon. Will be there from 12ish. Sun with a force 6 SE sounds good.

Not sure where I'll end up but I've packed the car. My end up at Hamworthy, as it looks like it may be a bit too manic at Portland. I hate to say it but if its going to be that windy and very small sails then I'm starting to think you needs some lumps to make it interesting. If I'm up early enough then I'll see what going on in the morning.

Off to Aberavon. Getting there early to catch low-mid tide, wind allowing.

Well I can say without doubt that Minehead on a southerly doesn't really work. Very gusty with big gaps in the wind. diagonal chop but very flat on the inside.
Got a few good runs on a 5.5 with a 100 litre slalom board.
However, I can honestly say that I will never sail in that direct at home ever ever again. It was that good!

Hope you guys had a better time at Portland.

Cheers,

James.
