Got down to Axbridge about 12:00 to discover a Laser National event and very gusty wind. Requests from the safety boat crew not to sail through the course while they were racing which was a bit difficult with the SE wind direction.
But by the time I'd rigged they were coming in for lunch. 3 others out. Me 8.5m on Jp X-cite 130 - why break a habit?!

Very gusty and just about enough to stay planing all the way across. The water was very cold and discovered my winter wetsuit leaks a bit more than it used to.
Did about an hour and was then cold so stopped. Which coincided nicely with the Lasers coming out again. Nice hot shower then home.
I'm not going to Weymouth tomorrow because the thought of only an hours sailing and 4 hours driving does not appeal.
